WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Operations management
- Work closely together with the other departments to have as optimal operation as possible, but especially department of transport, consolidation, wrapping, replenish and loading.
- Negotiation with temporary companies.
- Secure correct and optimal picking, online and paper flow.
- Coordination of staff resource between the departments in the operation.
- Work aligned with the continuous improvement principle.
- Use as less cost as possible.
- Compilation and compliance of budget and objectives.
- Ensure high level of service towards the customers.
- Use your right to speak up.
Internal processes
- Correct storage of articles.
- Make sure all relevant information is given to Team Leader and secure it accesses operation employee.
- Secure 2-way communication between online and JYSK Management.
- Working in the direction of optimal pallet.
- Secure deliveries on time to carriers.
- Secure that all relevant information accesses operation employee.
- Make sure all relevant information is given to Team.
- Leader and secure it accesses operation employees.
- Secure 2-way communication between outbound and JYSK Management.
Great DC Management
- Provides a clear understanding of the tasks, responsibilities and competencies.
- Ensure a functional description on all levels.
- Prioritizes and delegates work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department
- Manages the subordinate team, plans, motivates, evaluates and develops the staff
- Secure the necessary training of employees.
- Focus on best practice sharing across functions, departments and other DC’s.
- Develop and maintain an efficient and professional organization.
- Ensure motivated and skilled employees with focus on pipeline development.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
- You have a background within logistics and supply chain preferably both practical and educational
- You are an experienced leader and experience within planning is a plus
- You are an analytical person, who enjoys understanding processes and make decisions based on facts
- You enjoy a versatile role with a broad range of responsibility both as a leader and facilitator
- You are good at creating relationships and thrives in a role with many stakeholders
- You are proactive and take responsibility for deadlines and deliveries
- English skills on a good level (B2)
